Gee.
I've been a bad bad blogger.
I haven't had the time to settle down and sit in my own skin for longer than a minute. My friends tell me I look like I'm going to keel over anytime. Maybe I am. I wonder how it would feel to just fall forward, land face first into the obligations and responsibilities that I have designed for myself and let things lay where they land. One part of me is quite surprised at what I'm capable of producing and doing, another part of me knows I'm not doing as much as some others are. Right.
Watching B-quartet at Bar None and getting drum tips from Syed has left me practising 5, 6, 7-strokes and 3-way stick tricks with my heavy pair of drumsticks. I keep going till someone nearby gets irritated enough to tell me to stop. Changing my grip is leaving me a beginner again. For some reason, radiohead keeps playing on my itunes now. Have we all been B-quartet-alized?
You know some movies where all the actors speak really fast and the story line just keeps going and going until the chorus of the movie hits you in the face like a sledgehammer? My life has been reduced to my house, school and the occassional random walks to town. The walks are good. They slow the pace of the movie so that I get to enjoy the scenery for a bit.
Someone knock me out and force-feed me a vacation. I'll be eternally grateful. Thanks.
