Disappointment

One of the few things that I cannot tolerate is to see the work, name and feelings of good people being tarnished by people who act or lash out without thinking of the consequences. I have had the privilege to encounter two incidences of such today. Foolish is the word. Actually, foolishness is forgivable but foolish behaviour that affect other good and innocent people cannot be tolerated. It was a miscommunication but he had no qualms jumping the gun and casting the SA Exco in the same light as unprofessional scum. With no remorse. Guilty until proven innocent. Well not anymore. No one is going to have the luxury of smearing the name of the SA Exco as and when they feel like it. I feel strongly about this because I see how each and every attack on our reputation affects my team members. We work really hard and things like this just makes us jaded. All of you know how dedicated we are in serving the school. It's time that people associate the name of the SA with the dedication and service that we offer daily.

The other incident can be summarized in two words, foolishness and betrayal. Trust is not something easily regained. You lied to me point blank. Think about that. Think of the consequences of your actions. Why are you so foolish? Didn't you think at all?

Quick update

Watched StageIt's musical, Anything Goes, last night and it was a blast! Our amazing talents blew the house away. The actors, the orchaestra, the sets... Good stuff people!

Andrea recommended a playground near her place for me to tap access for my internet-starved iBook and here I am. At last count, the generous people of Sin Ming have a total of 9 wireless networks open for tapping. My thanks and gratitude. You help a starving undergrad read his mails and finish his work.

So mostly a trivial update here. It's hard to write well when you're always on the lookout for policemen.

doubleyellowline friends

I'm back, people. =)

If you didn't know, I popped a 6-day Melaka-KL pill last Friday with my best bunch of rockstar friends. We watched a movie, swam, had supper at all hours of the day, jammed, performed, shopped, walked, took photos, bed-jumped, hero-posed, ate like crazy, talked about all sorts of crap and even played multi-player chikopak. Hope to get the photos and videos soon. To the gang, it was top-notch fun. Cheers to the DYL Malaysia trip and to a Thailand trip end of the year.

And to you two, you should have absolutely no doubts that we all are right here for you if you guys need someone to talk to. Just one phonecall and you know we'll all be there anyplace anytime. We're friends.

Cheers to the doubleyellowline peeps. Cheers to all of us. \m/
